Still only 21, Isella has quickly built a reputation as one of the more distinctive new voices in alternative pop, blending elements of art rock, dark pop and spoken word with a strong visual identity.
Originally from Los Angeles, she’s spent much of her life moving between countries, something that feeds into her songwriting and perspective. Classically trained on violin from a young age, she now writes, produces and performs across multiple instruments, bringing a more layered approach to her music.
Her latest EP, Something is a Shell, released in April 2026, continues that trajectory, combining introspective lyrics with experimental production.
Isella first gained attention online before quickly stepping onto much bigger stages, opening for artists including Taylor Swift, Florence and the Machine and Tom Odell.
Over the past year, she has also toured extensively as a headliner across the US, Europe and Australia, building a growing fanbase drawn to both her sound and her aesthetic.
Live, her shows tend to lean into that atmosphere, mixing stripped-back moments with heavier, more industrial textures.
