Known for their ferocious live energy, Marathon channel the grit of the Pixies and Sonic Youth while carving out a world entirely their own. Their debut album Fading Image, released in spring 2025, dives into themes of transience and resilience, carried by Kay’s raw vocals, Nina’s commanding six string basslines and Lennart’s relentless drums.
With additional musicians Sofie and Victor expanding the sound on stage, their concerts become an enveloping wall of sound, intense and cathartic in equal measure.
They are one of the most exciting young bands to emerge from the Dutch underground, and this is a chance to see them up close in one of Luxembourg’s most atmospheric venues.
