The British singer-songwriter brings his 20th anniversary tour to Echterlive on Sunday, July 26th, celebrating two decades since the release of his breakthrough debut Undiscovered.
Ahead of the show, Morrison joined the Sam Steen Show on RTL Today Radio to reflect on the milestone.
"It's pretty mad", he admitted. "I never really take it for granted. I'm still happy just to be playing music and the fact that people are buying tickets to the shows... it means a lot to me."
Released in 2006, Undiscovered introduced Morrison to audiences around the world with timeless hits including You Give Me Something, Wonderful World and The Pieces Don't Fit Anymore, helping him sell millions of albums and establish himself as one of Britain's best-loved singer-songwriters.
Now, 20 years on, he says performing those songs still gives him a special feeling.
"It's nostalgic", he said. "The songs take me right back to being 21 and not really knowing what I was doing... but just going for it."
While fans can expect all the classic hits, Morrison says live music remains the part of his career he loves most.
"I still love playing live just as much as I ever did", he told RTL Today Radio. "That's all I ever wanted when I was a kid really, to be in a band and play music."
Support at Echterlive comes from MYLE and Blue-ish, making for a memorable evening of live music in Echternach.
RTL Today Radio has two pairs of tickets to give away, including one pair of VIP passes.
