It's a huge night for metal fans in Luxembourg, with four bands bringing a mixture of crushing riffs, technical musicianship and powerful melodies to den Atelier.

Headliners Currents and ERRA have both built international followings by pushing metalcore beyond its traditional boundaries, combining heavy breakdowns and aggressive vocals with atmospheric arrangements and deeply personal songwriting.

Currents: Heavy music with an emotional edge

Hailing from Connecticut, Currents have established themselves as one of the most exciting names in American metalcore.

Fronted by Brian Wille, the band combine down-tuned guitars, intricate rhythms and powerful breakdowns with melodic passages and lyrics exploring mental health, loss, personal struggles and resilience.

Their 2023 album The Death We Seek helped cement their reputation, following earlier releases including The Way It Ends and I Let the Devil In.

The band have also been busy with new material in 2026. September saw the release of Worlds Away, an EP featuring reimagined versions of earlier songs.

And just ahead of their European tour, Currents announced their next album, Our Fates Lie in Tandem, due in February 2027, alongside the release of new single "Retributioner".

It's an exciting time to catch a band continuing to develop its sound while retaining the heaviness that made its name.

ERRA: Progressive metalcore at its finest

Sharing the headline slot are ERRA, the American progressive metalcore band known for their exceptional musicianship and intricate songwriting.

Formed in Birmingham, Alabama, ERRA have developed a distinctive sound built around complex guitar arrangements, shifting rhythms and the contrast between harsh vocals and soaring melodic choruses.

With guitarist and vocalist Jesse Cash and frontman JT Cavey at the centre of their sound, the band move effortlessly between punishing metalcore and atmospheric, progressive passages.

Their acclaimed self-titled album, released in 2021, helped introduce their music to a wider audience, while 2024's CURE saw them explore a more direct, groove-driven approach without abandoning their technical roots.

For fans of modern progressive metal, ERRA's live performances offer a chance to experience that combination of precision, melody and sheer heaviness up close.

Caskets and Aviana complete the lineup

There's plenty more on offer before the headliners take the stage.

British band Caskets bring their melodic take on post-hardcore and alternative metal, mixing emotionally charged vocals with atmospheric guitars and big choruses.

They'll be joined by Sweden's Aviana, whose heavier, more aggressive sound combines modern metalcore with electronic elements and crushing breakdowns.

Together, the four bands make for one of the strongest metalcore lineups to visit Luxembourg this autumn.
