Created by Luxembourg-based artist Sacha Hanlet, the project moves beyond a traditional live performance, offering something closer to a fully integrated audio-visual experience.
TEXTURES explores the relationship between sound and image, combining analog-inspired synthesizers with large-scale visuals that evolve in real time. The result is a continuous, cinematic performance that sits somewhere between a concert, a film and an installation.
At the heart of the show is a strong visual identity built through hands-on experimentation. The imagery is created using chemical reactions, pigments, metal particles and ferrofluids, forming organic shapes that are captured and projected onto a large screen.
These visuals are not pre-recorded in a conventional sense. Instead, they interact live with the music, creating a dialogue between physical materials and sound as the performance unfolds.
On stage, Sacha Hanlet is joined by Sergio Manique, with the duo performing a live score that draws inspiration from 1980s film soundtracks, reworked through a contemporary electronic lens.
Together, the sound and visuals create a layered, sensory experience that aims to pull the audience into its world rather than simply present something to watch.
