The Australian multi-instrumentalist, producer, and singer-songwriter Tash Sultana returns to Luxembourg for a highly anticipated show at den Atelier on 26 August, after taking the Grand Duchy by storm in 2022.
Often described as a “one-person band,” Tash Sultana has become renowned for hypnotic live performances built entirely on looping, layering guitar, percussion, vocals, and a wide range of instruments in real time. Their sound moves fluidly between psychedelic rock, reggae, soul, and ambient textures, resulting in immersive, emotionally charged songs that feel both intimate and expansive.
Tash Sultana rose from Melbourne street musicianship to fame with their 2016 single, Jungle, which was voted into third place on Triple J’s Hottest 100 countdown of 2016. Since then, they have released acclaimed albums including Flow State (2018) and Terra Firma (2021), cementing their reputation as a boundary-pushing artist and a powerful live performer.
They have also received recognition from the Australian music industry, including nominations for Most Performed Blues & Roots Work of the Year at the APRA Awards in both 2021 and 2022 for Blackbird and Pretty Lady, so seeing them live is a must if you love rock and soul music.
