Last week I spoke with Diana Reid, a registered dietitian nutritionist, and Claudia de Boer, a psychologist and psychotherapist.
On listening to that podcast, Dr. Salima Aarab contacted me as she was surprised that even professionals are not clearly aware of the services available to Luxembourg patients with eating disorders.
Here we have a wide-ranging chat about how eating disorders manifest, how long it takes to help tackle the underlying psychological reasoning, and the inevitable physical issues associated with this range of, what can become, chronic conditions.
It’s also wonderful to know that in-patient and out-patient care is growing in Luxembourg.
Eating Disorders Part IIYou can find last week’s podcast here:
The global pandemic has seen a rise in eating disorders being diagnosed and there’s no clinic in Luxembourg to treat people.
