The track, a raw, indie-subversive cut written by Rocky alongside Cristoforo Donadi, Adam “Ging” Feeney and Zach Fogarty — marks the start of a bold new era for the multi-hyphenate artist.
The single arrives with a striking video co-directed by Rocky and collaborators Folkert Verdoorn and Simon Becks, known together as The Three Musketeers.
Featuring appearances from Winona Ryder, Danny Elfman, Thundercat and A$AP Nast, the film brings five of Rocky’s DON’T BE DUMB alter egos to life, including GR1M, BABUSHKA BOI and SHIRTHEAD, each one expanding the album’s world and mythos.
DON’T BE DUMB marks Rocky’s first full-length project in eight years and is already generating major global buzz.
The album cover, created with Tim Burton, showcases six stylised Rocky personas in Burton’s unmistakably gothic illustration style.
The release caps a standout year for Rocky, who co-chaired the 2025 Met Gala, became creative director for Ray-Ban and Chanel’s new house ambassador, and delivered headline performances at Lollapalooza and Camp Flog Gnaw, all pointing to a massive new chapter for one of music’s most influential creatives.
