Quick ReadsThe Legend Of Dorothy Upearly

No poems at this stage, just a humble musing on the state of play when it comes to breaking (toasted) bread of a morning and how this can be related to systematic weather fronts.

Stick with me, it will be worth it (it definitely won’t). Let’s say that on this day, back in 1976, a woman named Dorothy Upearly dropped a newly-buttered crumpet on the floor and to her shock, instead of landing buttered-side down like physics suggests, it simply hung there, levitating in a state of perpetual suspended animation.

Though there is little to no scientific proof that this miracle of toasted wonder had any effect on weather conditions at all, some are attributing the happening to why we’ve overcast and grey clouds today.

See, told you. You’re welcome.
