Whichever category you happen to belong to, here are the shows to watch if you long for some romance in your life.
Spinning Out
Kat Baker was a successful ice-skater, on track for the Olympic Games, when she suffered a disastrous fall during a competition. As a result, she has been unable to perform as a single skater and is looking to partner up with Justin Davis, a pair skater from a rich family who likes to party and has a reputation as a womanizer.
When they meet, sparks start to fly, and they become a couple on and off the ice. Both Kat and Justin have emotional problems and difficult relationships with their parents, their love story being only one of several story lines. The ice skating is one of the highlights of the series, the real-life ice skaters perfectly matched and blended through special effects with the actors, to a point where you don’t realize that they are different people.
The story told isn’t new or very original, but with every big sports event having been cancelled, this is at least a possibility to watch some sport on TV.
