
A 67-year-old woman who was hit by a rescue vehicle during the floods in Saarbrücken, died of her injuries on Sunday evening.
The mayor of Saarbrücken, Uwe Conradt, spoke of a "terrible tragedy" and was "deeply saddened by the news".
Same as in Luxembourg, the situation has eased in Saarland and water levels are falling, but the authorities are still urging people to be careful and not to take any unnecessary risks.
