The president of RLP's Hotel and Restaurant Association (DEHOGA), Gereon Haumann, has suggested the Luxembourgers be barred from entering Hotels and Restaurants without valid test results.

The high level of new infections in the Grand Duchy continues to be of great concern to the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Rhineland-Palatinate, according to reports in the Trierischer Volksfreund.

Haumann proposes that Luxembourgers should no longer visit restaurants and hotels in Rhineland-Palatinate (Pfalz) without a negative test result. He also suggests that countries such as Luxembourg could impose a ban on their own people from leaving the country in order to prevent the spread of the virus.

Finally, Haumann says that he is aware that the absence of customers from the Grand Duchy has hit the gastronomy in the border region hard but that the measures are entirely necessary.
