According to Républicain Lorrain, the incident took place near a railway bridge in Longwy-Bas during the night from Friday to Saturday. The young woman fell six metres after coming into contact with the high-voltage power line and was severely injured in the process.
The woman was transported to the Mercy hospital, where she received treatment at the unit for burn victims.
