Kanner-Jugend-Telefon (KJT or Kids and Youth phone line) has been offering a phone advice line and internet aid for the past 25 years.

The KJT service is seeking new volunteers interested in social work and helping young people when needed. In order to be a KJT volunteer, applicants must undergo training which will be offered in September.

All interested parties can inform themselves at an information evening hosted at 7pm on Monday 1 July at RBS in Itzig (20, Rue de Contern). For further information concerning the service, you can visit the website at www.kjt.lu or call 26 64 05 55.

You could soon be one of the team members who answers the phone with the words "Bleif net eleng, ruff un" ('Don't be alone, call us).
