A serious accident took place at a construction site in Eschdorf on Tuesday when a worker fell several metres from a roof.
The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) responded to the emergency call on Tuesday afternoon. According to police reports, the worker fell from a height of approximately six metres while working on a roof.
The worker sustained serious injuries and received first aid at the scene before being transported to the hospital. Despite the severity of the injuries, police stated that the worker’s life is not in danger.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Inspectorate of Labour and Mines (ITM) have been notified, and an accident report has been filed.
