A man was fatally injured during maintenance work on blast furnaces in Belval on Wednesday afternoon. Emergency services attended the scene, but responders were only able to confirm the death of the 31-year-old man from the south of the country.
The Inspectorate of Labour and Mines (ITM) and a police forensics team have been despatched to the scene to determine the cause of the accident.
