According to Thursday's police report, the driver lost control of the vehicle for reasons that remain unclear. The car veered off the road, struck a tree, overturned, caught fire, and came to a stop in the middle of the carriageway.
Two witnesses managed to pull the woman from the burning vehicle before emergency services, including the SAMU, arrived on the scene.
