At around 8.20pm on Wednesday evening, a woman was seriously injured in a crash on the road between Roeser and Kockelscheuer.
According to Thursday’s police report, the driver lost control of the vehicle for reasons that remain unclear. The car veered off the road, struck a tree, overturned, caught fire, and came to a stop in the middle of the carriageway.
Two witnesses managed to pull the woman from the burning vehicle before emergency services, including the SAMU, arrived on the scene.
