EttelbruckWoman assaulted by group of youths, suffers severe head injury

The police are looking for witnesses after a group of youths attacked and injured a woman in Ettelbruck last week.

The assault took place near a petrol station on Avenue J. F. Kennedy in Ettelbruck at noon on Thursday.

The group of attackers reportedly threw heavy objects at the victim, including a gas cylinder. They fled the scene in the direction of the Ettelbruck train station afterwards.

The woman suffered severe head injuries in the attack. She was first treated at the scene before being transported to a hospital.

The police are now looking for people who may have witnessed the attack. There were an estimated ten people in the group, both male and female, about the age of 17.
