On Monday, 11 September, private winegrowers will commence the grape harvest, as confirmed by co-president Guy Krier in response to queries from RTL.lu. Preliminary assessments and tests in the vineyards have already begun this week.

Simultaneously, during the same week as the private winegrowers, Domaines Vinsmoselle winegrowers will start their grape harvest. Vinsmoselle President Josy Gloden confirmed to RTL.lu that operations would fully swing into action around 13 or 14 September at the cooperative.

Gloden also mentioned that Domaines Vinsmoselle are still looking for people willing to contribute to the grape harvest. Those interested in participating are encouraged to reach out to the individual wineries.

It is worth noting that the crowning of the new Luxembourg Wine Queen, Loredana, is scheduled to take place in Grevenmacher from 8 to 10 September during the town’s traditional wine festival. She as well as four wine princesses will represent Luxembourg’s wines both domestically and internationally.

In 2022, the grape harvest commenced around the same period as this year.
