Grand Ducal courtWill the financing of the Grand Ducal court be adjusted by law?

In his reply to a parliamentary question by LSAP MP Alex Bodry, Xavier Bettel explained that it was still to early to determine whether or not the government will adjust the financing of the Grand Ducal court.

Xavier Bettel had nominated Jeannot Waringo as the "special representative of the Prime Minister" at the end of June. Waringo, the former director of the Inspectorate of Finance (IGF) is examining several different aspects relating to the Grand Ducal Court's personnel management.

Xavier Bettel explained that the government was willing to discuss Waringo's findings with the Chamber of Deputies at the end of his mission. For now, it is to early to tell wether of not the financing of the Grand Ducal court needs to be adjusted by law.

Tanja Raveane becomes communications consultant at the Grand Ducal court

There has been a new recruitment: according to RTL information, Tanja Raveane joins the the communication and press relations team of the Grand Ducal court. She formerly worked as the spokeswoman of Luxembourg's army.

She will start her new position as communications consultant in October.
