The Wanteraktioun, or Winter Action programme is aimed at helping the most vulnerable in society, on the streets or in poverty, to pass the winter months as comfortably as possible.
The programme has been running for the last 18 years in Luxembourg. The Dernier Sol shelter in Bonnevoie is set to open from 1 December until 31 March.
Volunteers are needed on a daily basis to help run the programme by distributing hot meals, cleaning tables or running activities, above all helping to create a familiar and convivial atmosphere for those in need.
