On Saturday afternoon, police were alerted to a violent assault at the train station in Colmar-Berg. A man had been assaulted by a group of eight youths, who repeatedly hit him on the head and stole his phone, glasses, and shoes. The victim suffered light injuries in the process.
A young man was mugged on Boulevard Jean Ulveling in Luxembourg City on Saturday evening. After denying a cigarette to the perpetrator, the latter went on to threaten his victim and stole his wallet and jewellery before fleeing the scene. A complaint was filed.
