Two individuals were injured in a frontal car collision around 5.45 pm on rue de Soleuvre in Limpach. Emergency services were on the scene to care for the injured.
A further accident occurred at 8.30 pm in Blaschette, where a person was hit by a car and injured.
Emergency services reported three more accidents with one injured in each event. The first one occurred between Manternach and Berbourg, and the second one on the slip road from the Trier motorway to the Dudelange motorway.
The final reported car accident took place at 4.20 am on route de Luxembourg in Frisange, where a vehicle flipped.
Two forest fires were reported as well, in Blaschette and Kirchberg. Another fire occurred at 11 pm in Lellingen, where a bin was set on fire.
