During World War II, a group known as the Ghost Army emerged as a remarkable ensemble of soldiers who employed ingenious tactics to outmaneuver the Germans on the battlefields of Europe. Their selfless efforts involved executing 25 battlefield deceptions in various European countries, including Luxembourg, France, Belgium, Germany, and Italy, which saved thousands.
Despite remaining a secret for fifty years, their dedication was finally acknowledged with the prestigious Congressional Gold Medal. Today, the Ghost Army Legacy Project is committed to preserving and honoring the legacy of these extraordinary men.
