Petrol station robberyUnknown individual threatens cashier with knife

At around 7pm on Saturday evening, a man broke into a petrol station on Route du Vin in Wormeldange and threatened the clerk with a knife.

According to police, the perpetrator entered the station through the backdoor and used it again to escape with the contents of the cash register. The man reportedly fled in the direction of the town centre.

The perpetrator is described as being under 30 years old and having a southern appearance. He wore a black hoodie and a face covering. The knife he used had a red handle.

Police were unable to locate the offender in a search that immediately followed the incident.
