Shortly after 6am on Saturday morning, the owner of a house on Rue de la Forge in Bivange was assaulted by two unknown men who rang his door bell. The attackers used a kitchen knife and lightly injured the owner, as well as one other person in the house.
The perpetrators then stole various valuables, including a laptop, a mobile phone, and cash, before fleeing the scene.
Although police deployed two search units, the attackers were not found. A complaint has since been filed and an investigation is underway.
