Together with other young musicians, including newcomers and professionals, he has established contacts between national and international artists. The music collective “Two Steps Twice,” aims to represent not only Luxembourgish artists, but also Dutch, British, Danish, and German bands, as well as solo artists. The label represents Luxembourgish acts such as “TUYS,” “MAZ,” “Maale Gars,” or “das RADIAL.” International artists include “Reveal Party,” “The Mighty Breaks,” “PORT ERIN,” and “MIRRAR.”

However, the label doesn’t only represent musicians but also works with directors, for example, with Yann Gengler, the bassist of “TUYS,” in their collaboration for the short film “Reality Management Ltd.”

On 21 August, the “Two Steps Twice” host a label night at Rotondes in Luxembourg City. The event will feature the Luxembourgish band “TUYS” and the Danish singer-songwriter “Reveal Party.” They will be performing at Rotondes as part of the Congés Annulés.

“TUYS” have been known for their extravagant style for over 15 years. The Luxembourgish indie rock band incorporates emotionally-charged psych-pop nuances into their music, with distinctive guitar sounds, and three-part vocal harmonies accompanied by synthesizers. Their captivating concerts in Luxembourg, Germany, and Austria, have contributed to the quartet’s success. They are now primarily active in Berlin and Luxembourg. In April, they released their latest work, “Reality Management Ltd.,” a short film that also serves as a music album, featuring a total of 11 tracks. “TUYS” like to blend their music with visuals. This becomes evident in their music videos, where they like to play with reality and fiction in a satirical manner.

The second act of the evening, Emily Holm Nyhuss, better known as “Reveal Party,” is a Danish artist. Her career began with her debut EP “You Stole a Year of My Life” in 2020. This EP led her to win the music prize at the Danish Rainbow Awards 2021. She has played over 80 concerts across Denmark, Holland, and Norway, and is set to perform in Luxembourg in August. In her songs, Emily Holm Nyhuss sings about her personal life, being a transgender woman in the music scene, all with a sarcastic touch. Her style is a blend of Midwest emo and modern pop songs.
