Civic engagementTwo new petitions cross signature threshold

RTL Today
The Chamber of Deputies announced on Wednesday that two new public petitions crossed the threshold of 4,500 signatures, which means that they are eligible to be presented and debated in the petition commission.

5,092 people signed a petition arguing that the right to pay with cash money should be retained in the constitution.

4,902 signatures were validated for the petition proposing to improve people’s access to MRIs, mammographies, colonoscopies, and scanners.

A date for the presentation of both petitions in front of the Chamber’s petition commission has yet to be announced.
