Intruders accessed a family home on Rue Pierre Hennes, Helmsange, at 5pm on Sunday, breaking in via a garage window.
In Senningerberg, another house was targeted by burglars. The perpetrators broke into the residence on Rue du Golf via a patio door and searched several rooms, stealing an empty safe in the process.
Investigations were launched into both incidents.
Police in the capital were alerted to a car break-in on Avenue Emile Reuter at atound 9.40pm. The thief accessed the vehicle as one of the windows was partially opened, but was caught in the act by the car owner shortly afterwards, The thief ran away, but was stopped by police and issued with a protocol.
