A police patrol were on their way to the Rives de Clausen when they became aware of a man waving his arms at a bus stop. A group of people were standing next to him and unsuccessfully tried calming him down. The man pushed each of them away and eventually ran into the street, where an arriving bus had to slam on the brakes to avoid the agitator.
As the man was posing a threat to himself and others, officers decided to guide him off the street only to be met with aggressive behaviour. At that point, the man’s companions also decided to step in and a brawl between both fractions erupted.
One officer was hit on the head, the other one punched in the face and dragged by her hair. Nevertheless, two agitators were immobilised in the end and the situation calmed down when reinforcement arrived at the scene.
Both men were taken into custody while two officers were sent to the hospital for a check-up.
