The first car crashed on Avenue Marie Therese in Luxembourg City at 5.40pm. Not long after, another car was involved in an accident on Rue Deich in Ettelbruck.
In each incident, one person suffered injuries.
CGDIS also reported a container which caught fire on Rue des Commercants in Livange at 6pm.
Fire brigades from Roeser and Bettembourg attended to the incident, in which nobody was injured.
