The Grand-Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) attended the scene of two accidents on Tuesday morning.

The first accident happened shortly after 10am on Rue de l’Usine in Belvaux, with two cars colliding and two people sustaining injuries. Firefighters and an ambulance from the Sanem-Differdange unit were sent to the scene.

A second crash, also involving two cars, occurred shortly before 11am at the roundabout linking Rue de Belval and Liaison Micheville. Emergency services reported two more injured people. Firefighters from Esch-sur-Alzette were despatched to the scene, along with ambulances from Bettembourg and Luxembourg City.

The second crash left debris across the roundabout, which was temporarily closed for clean-up. Police later said it had reopened shortly after 11am.
