At 10.30pm a motorist travelling down Rue de l'Alzette in Cruchten lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a field. It transpired that the car was not properly registered and the driver had been subjected to a driving ban. He was fined as a result.
In Belval, a motorist ploughed through a building site barrier shortly after 11pm, but failed to stop after the crash. He was later approached by police and received a driving ban and a fine after refusing to take a breathalyser test.
