It was a difficult evening for three road users – and for the emergency services, with two accidents on Sunday afternoon and evening casting a shadow over Easter Sunday.

Shortly before 6pm, a motorcyclist fell while riding along Rue de Dreiborn in Wormeldange. An ambulance from Remich attended the scene, joining firefighters from the municipality. The motorcyclist sustained injuries.

The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) also confirmed that a serious collision between two vehicles occurred after 9pm in Rodange. The accident left two people injured and required a large emergency response, involving two ambulances from Sanem-Differdange, the emergency medical unit (SAMU) from Esch-sur-Alzette, and firefighters from Pétange and Käerjeng.
