Works are set to begin at 6.30pm on Friday, 16 August, and are likely to clear by 6am on Monday.
Traffic on the A1 will be operated in a two-way mode, on one lane in each direction, between the Munsbach interchange and the Flaxweiler interchange. A speed limit of 50 km/h will be put in place for the duration of the changes.
The access road from Munsbach (CR132) towards Trier will be closed to traffic, with vehicles deviated via the A1 towards Luxembourg City, then via the Cargo Center interchange and back on the A1 towards the German border.
It is likely motorists may experience disruption on Friday afternoon in preparation for the works.
