Weather & TrafficThursday 26 June: A wild storm appears

Following several days of clear skies and warm weather, today we're getting a bit of a shock to the system.

Meteolux already issued a warning, so you probably know what’s coming: the rain will be back to gracefully cool us down after the extra-hot days we’ve been having (or that’s how I choose to see it).

During the night of Wednesday to Thursday, in particular, there will be a strong probability of rain (and thunder). Lunchtime should also be wetter (and possibly noisier) than usual. The stormy periods will likely bring heavy precipitation in a short time, and will be accompanied by strong winds reaching up to 80 km/h, which is definitely not nothing, so beware.

The temperature will almost make it feel like the Canary islands, though: a rather pleasant 18–20°C minimum, going up to around 23°C for the max – shame that all this water is in the wrong place.

Stay dry, get wet, whatever you prefer – just do me a favour and have a nice day!
