We start 2026 just like we ended 2025: freezing our butts off under a grey sky. And the presence of a southwestern wind that could reach up to 50 km/h won’t make it any easier to go outside, either.
In the afternoon and evening, we may see a bit of light snow, as well as some potentially troublesome freezing fog that could leave roads and sidewalks very slippery – so do beware, if you’re out and about.
The temperature will be mostly in the negative zone today: it starts off at a minimum of -3 to -1°C, and shouldn’t go over 1°C at its “warmest”.
