City paramedics, first responders and firefighters were on the scene to provide assistance.
Police reported that Route d’Esch was closed in both directions due to the accident, causing significant traffic congestion. Shortly before 1pm, one lane was reopened in both directions.
At 3pm, the full street was opened to traffic.
Earlier in the morning at 8am, emergency services were called to another car crash on Rue de Merl in the City. One person was injured and treated on the scene, according to a CGDIS report.
