One vehicle was reported on Saturday on Avenue Monterey in Luxembourg City. Police found the motorist driving erratically and with one broken taillight at around 9pm. Both drug and alcohol tests were positive. The woman was fined and taken to hospital for a blood test.
Shortly after midnight, police came across a motorist weaving across the N1 towards Potaschbierg. The man tested positive for alcohol intake and was fined.
Finally, on Route d'Arlon in Strassen, police stopped a vehicle at midnight because it smelled strongly of cannabis. The drug test was positive and a small amount of the drug was discovered following a search of the vehicle. The driver was brought to hospital for tests, and had to pay a fine for breaking curfew rules.
