The incident occurred on Quatre Vents in Eschdorf at 7.15pm on Tuesday. Three people were reported to have been hurt in the crash, receiving assistance from emergency teams from Rambrouch, Nordstad, Wiltz, and the Alebesch fire brigade.
Two more people were injured following a collision between two vehicles on Route de Luxembourg in Rollingen. Pétange and Esch-sur-Alzette ambulances attended the incident, accompanied by the Pétange fire brigade.
In the early hours of Wednesday morning, Esch firefighters were called out to an incident on Rue Zenon Bernard, where a fire had been triggered by some fireworks. No injuries were reported.
