The first case involved a driver on the A1 motorway, initially apprehended for “dangerous driving.” Upon inspection, a breathalyser test revealed a blood alcohol level exceeding the legal limit, leading to the immediate suspension of their licence.

Simultaneously, law enforcement received reports of a person who was clearly inebriated and attempting to operate their vehicle after leaving a bar in Bissen. They were promptly intercepted by a police patrol, and a positive breathalyser test resulted in the suspension of their licence.

Lastly, shortly after midnight, another driver attracted attention for hazardous behaviour. Operating their vehicle under the influence, they were found on the A4 with their headlights off, swerving erratically. During the subsequent inspection, officers noticed “a strong smell of alcohol.” The driver was issued a temporary driving ban.
