Fires

Shortly before 11 p.m., a fire broke out in a basement in Leudelange. Local firefighters were called to the scene and supported by forces from the capital and Modercange. Nobody was injured in the process.

Around 3 a.m., a house caught fire  right at the Luxembourgish-German border in Wallendorf. The fire brigades from Reisdorf and Consdorf were called into action. Further details remain unknown at this stage.

Finally, around 7 o'clock in the evening, a trash bin caught fire in Baschleiden.

Accidents

Shortly after 5 p.m., a motorcyclist fell between Putscheid and Wahlhausen. The driver suffered minor injuries and was treated by first responders from Putscheid and Diekirch.

Not long after, a car collided with a cyclist near Hassel. The cyclist was lightly injured. Emergency services from Bettembourg and Weiler-la-Tour were at the scene.

Around 8 p.m. then, first responders from Esch-sur-Alzette and Dippach were called into action following an accident in Bettange-sur-Mess. One person was injured during this incident.
