Thieves broke into the changing rooms at the football club on Rue Compte de Bertier in Dudelange over the weekend, likely between 9.30 pm on Saturday and 8.20 am on Sunday morning. As of yet unknown suspects stole 27 pairs of football shoes, alongside t-shirts, shorts, and other sports equipment.
Anybody who might have encountered suspicious individuals in the area should contact the Dudelange police at 244 69 1000. The police reported another break-in in an old rectory in Mondercange, but nothing was stolen.
Additionally, police reported that they were able to arrest an individual who was sought by the police during a police check in the station neighbourhood in Luxembourg City. Police also disrupted individuals in the process of consuming cocaine on Rue Glesener. The individuals were fined.
