According to police information, a woman entered a jewellery store in Differdange on Saturday at 4 pm. She was shown a few necklaces and bracelets that the saleswoman displayed on a so-called jewellery roll.
The woman then grabbed the roll and attempted to run away with it. But the saleswoman made proof of great reflexes and managed to hold on to the roll.
According to police information the women then wrangled for the roll at the counter.
In the end the saleswoman got the perpetrator let go and managed to throw her out of the store. The perpetrator than fled into Rue Michel Rodange. Police were not able to locate her.
