The Mobility Ministry announced on Monday that the speed camera installed at the entrance to the Micheville tunnel will enter its test phase this Friday, enforcing a 70 km/h speed limit on the B40 towards France.

The Ministry for Mobility and Public Works confirmed on Monday morning that the fixed speed camera installed at the entrance to the Micheville tunnel in July will start flashing this Friday.

The speed limit on this stretch of the B40 is 70 km/h. The device will flash vehicles travelling towards France. A tolerance of 3km/h will be applied to motorists travelling at less than 100km/h, the Ministry announced.

A date for the end of the test phase has yet to be confirmed.
