A suspicious individual was stopped in rue de l'Industrie in Rodange on Friday evening. According to the police, the latter's "behaviour" was what piqued the interest of the officers on site. Saturday's police bulletin states that the individual in question appeared to force themselves to swallow while being checked, which raised the suspicion that they may have swallowed drugs in an attempt to conceal them.
The suspect was first taken to the local police station and then transferred to a nearby hospital, where medical staff managed to extract a total of eight "small balls" filled with drugs. After being filled in on the details of the case, the public prosecutor's office ordered the arrest of the individual, who will thus have to face legal consequences for their actions.
