The arrest was the result of close cooperation between Luxembourg and foreign authorities. The suspect was handed over to Luxembourg last Thursday.
In a separate case, police, in collaboration with their French counterparts, detained a suspected drug dealer on a train bound for Luxembourg. Officers found 43 pellets of cocaine, a mobile phone, and cash in his possession.
The prosecutor’s office was informed and the suspect was taken into custody. There he was subjected to a body scan, which, according to the police, yielded a positive result.
