
On Sunday early morning, the police received a call from the emergency room of the Hospital Centre Emile Mayrisch in Esch-sur-Alzette, concerning an aggressive person. Following the arrival of the police, it became clear that the aggressive individual had registered another individual, who displayed a deep injury on the neck, to the hospital’s emergency room. According to police reports, the injured individual was not in a critical condition.
According to initial findings, the act occurred in front of a pub at the Boulevard Prince Henri in Esch, prompting the police to launch an official investigation.
On Monday morning, the police reported that a suspect linked to the case had been arrested on Sunday evening, entailing the confiscation of the potential weapon used in the act. On orders of the public prosecutor’s office, the suspect was brought before the examining magistrate on Monday.
