
Police were originally called to the emergency unit at Esch-sur-Alzette hospital on account of an individual displaying aggressive behaviour.
It later emerged that the aggressive individual was accompanying a friend, who had sustained a neck injury and was seeking treatment. Officers at the scene then uncovered that the injured man had a suspicious deep cut to his neck. According to police, his life was not in danger.
Initial findings suggest the incident that caused the neck injury occurred in front of a café on Boulevard Prince Henri in Esch-sur-Alzette. Police have launched an investigation.
