What. Is. Happening. Where was winter, where was spring? Summer is back, baby!
As Meteolux so kindly explained to our readers last week, the reason for today’s tremendous jump in temperatures is the strong, low pressure system moving towards Great Britain by Sunday. “On its eastern flank in its broad warm sector, the system will direct a subtropical air mass from lower latitudes toward Western and Central Europe.” Delicious!
As we leave some light rainfall behind from last night, Sunday will remain dry, with light Cirrostratus clouds painting the blue sky. We’ll be having a few hours of sunshine, too.
Temperature-wise, we’ll start off around 5 to 7°C in the morning. The max should stay in the 13–15°C range, before dropping back down to 11–13°C in the evening. Temperatures will slowly begin to drop again at the start of the week.
Have a wonderful day!
